Our private lake frontage, on Rainbow Lake, is just a 4 min stroll from the cabin. While there you can fish, bird watch, and in the Fall view migratory ducks and perhaps a bald eagle or two. Enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the lake. Sunrises and sunsets can be magnificent.

A private setting on 9 acres: The ranch house sits high on a bluff overlooking a beautiful valley where horses and cattle are grazing. The view is lovely. On the far side of the valley is the edge of the City of Show Low. Three fishing lakes are within a 10 - 15 minute drive from The Ranch.
Local History: The stage coach, which ran from Holbrook - Show Low - Pinetop - White River, traveled down our tree covered lane. The stage coach stopped at the White House which was located at the top of one of our pastures. Here travelers enjoyed the hospitality of the resident inn keepers and a much needed nights rest. Ancient Anasazi Indians resided on the bluff. Evidence of their stay can be found on our resident petroglyph. Pottery shards and arrow heads have been found on the property.
The biggest highlight for our guests is feeding the horses and llamas. Feed Carrots Only with No Fingers Sticking Up when feeding horses - PLEASE !!! For your safety, our guests are restricted from entering pastures, barn and Santa Fe railroad car unless owner is present. We come to feed 2x's a day and invite you, at this time, to come down and lend a cowboy/cowgal hand.
