Jungle Gym with slide and swing for the little ones
Accommodates 2 - 12 Guests
Local History: Between the base of the bluff and the pastures is a lane which was the old stage coach road. The stage coach traveled from Holbrook to White River. The first stop for weary travelers and horses was at a little house called the White House - located at the top of one of our pastures. After a good night's rest the horses were hooked up to the stage coach, the people climbed back in and they continued their journey through Pinetop and then on down to White River. The Show Low Historical Museum offers a video of the settlement of Show Low and our ranch is featured in the video. The museum is located on the main street, Deuce of Clubs, across from the Sonic Drive-In.
More History: Ancient Anasazi Indians resided on the bluff. Pottery shards and arrow heads have been found on the property. Take a stroll and see if you can find the boulder with a duck petroglyph.
The biggest highlight for our guests, especially children, is feeding the horses and llamas. Feed "Carrots Only" and be sure "No Fingers are Sticking Up --- PLEASE!! For your safety, our guests are restricted from entering pastures, barn and Santa Fe railroad car unless owner is present. We come to feed 2x a day and invite you, at this time, to come down and lend the cowboy/cowgal a helping hand.
Other Highlights: The Ranch is the home of Anzaki, one of our horses who recently won an award for being the fasted New Mexico Bred Thoroughbred in 2013. Quite an honor. We've posted one of his Win Photos in our Ranch photo gallery. Also, once in awhile, wild life will come out of the woods to graze on the meadow grass. We've posted a recent picture of elk taken near the Ranch by one of our guests.
Our posted rates are per night and based on up to 4 guests. For each additional guest, add $15 per night. Taxes are not included. All accommodations are smoke free. No smoking near barn. The Ranch is Pet Friendly.
