The Ranch

The Ranch – Lovely Views

A 9 acre ranch with a 2800 SF ranch house, situated on the Bluff, offering panorama views of the skyline and beautiful valley that runs through the town of Show Low. Horses, llamas and cattle graze on pastures of lush meadow grass. The view is lovely. Three fishing lakes are within an 8 to 10 minute drive.

The Ranch house offers spacious living with large living room, dining room and kitchen. With 4 bedrooms, there is comfortable sleeping for all. A courtyard patio and several picnic terraces are great for family gatherings outdoors.

A working ranch with 3 llamas, one old kitty, retired race horses and the home of Anzaki – 2013 New Mexico Sprint Champion. Children enjoy feeding the horses carrots and should be accompanied by an adult. Be sure “No Fingers are Sticking Up — PLEASE!! Do not open pasture or barn gates. We come to feed 2x’s a day and invite you to come down and lend the cowboy/cowgal helping hand.

Local History: Between the base of the bluff and the pastures is a lane which was the old stagecoach road which traveled from Holbrook to Pinetop to White River. The first stop for weary travelers and horses was at a little house called the White House – once located at the top of one of our pastures. After a good night’s rest, the horses were hooked up to the stagecoach, the people climbed back in and they continued their journey. The Show Low Historical Museum offers a video of the settlement of Show Low, Arizona. Our ranch is featured in the video. The museum is located on the main street, Deuce of Clubs, across from the Sonic Drive-In.
