The Barn House

‍One of very few large homes on the mountain that can accommodate large groups of up to 22 guests. This amazing, huge 4900 SF, 2 story, 7-bedroom house is situated on one acre and includes big lawns, lots of mature trees, apple orchard, 2 patios, 1/2 ac. pasture with barn and horses. One can see the very north end of Rainbow Lake from the front of the house. Just a short stroll to Rainbow Lake for boating or fishing.

Each of the 3 living rooms are spacious and comfortably furnished with plenty of comfy sofas and overstuffed chairs. The main kitchen is fully equipped. We've added a shabby chic sit-at island, Australian cedar wood floors, stainless steel appliances, and created a sunroom/dining room for plenty of seating. Play cards and games into the night at the kitchen island. In winter months, enjoy a cozy fire in front of 1 of 2 gas fireplaces or enjoy the warmth and sunshine of a winter's day in 1 of 2 passive solar sun-rooms.

Many of our guests, escaping the heat of the desert, simply enjoy sitting in the shade of the big willow trees - relishing the cooler temps of a Spring-Summer-Autumn day. Bring charcoal and BBQ on 1 of 2 furnished patios, enjoying the companionship of friends and family. If apples are on the trees, help yourself. Bring Croquet, Badminton, Horseshoes, or a Bean Bag Toss Game, and have a family tournament. Horseshoes and Bean Bag game - please set up in the driveway, not on lawns.

HORSE WILL GET VERY SICK IF YOU FEED THEM ANYTHING, so no treats, hay, grass.  PLEASE – DO NOT GO INTO PASTURE.

Take a 2 min. stroll to public lake access. Feed the ducks and geese. Fish off the dam or dock. One can rent a pontoon boat or fishing boat nearby.
